Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,
Time is marching on and it seems like a strange thing that we are already entering spring time. To be honest, we had to travel north in order to get some winter. Our weekend of winter in Mississippi just wasn’t enough. Two weeks ago, we spent the weekend in Ozark, AL, the place of my earliest childhood memories, and we had a great time with the members of Bridlewood Chapel. Last weekend we packed up and went to visit my Uncle in Hampstead, NC and spoke at Liberty Baptist Church. We then traveled to Lititz, PA and spent a few days with our good friends from RVA. This was an especially blessed time, because Abby was able to catch a train and spend that time with us as well. And of course we loved driving and playing in the snow (Meredith did not like the driving part)!!!
We are entering the home stretch as summer approaches. Our current plan is for David, Meredith and Karissa to return to Kenya in early August. Currently we have two more planned engagements. David will be meeting with the CM Church Missions committee in late March and we will be speaking at Mt. Vernon CM church on Apr 30. We are hoping to arrange more opportunities to share in churches, so if you would like us to come to your church, Sunday School Class, or small group please let us know.
How are we doing in terms of fundraising? We are around 87% supported which means we need around $850 in additional monthly support in order to be fully supported. We would like to ask you to prayerfully consider joining us in this endeavor. If you would like to give in order to help us, please click the “How You Can Help” tab above.
- Please continue to pray that God would raise up addition supporters so that we may return fully supported in August.
- Pray for Abby as she continues to consider what to do this summer and in the future.
- Pray for Elizabeth as she will be working at Fermi Lab in Chicago as a summer intern.
- Please pray for our transition back to Kenya leaving two parts of our heart over here in the states.
Testing our Suburban in the snow so that Christ centered churches can be planted among all African peoples,
